Current Position

With the latest Government advice on social distancing and non-essential contact, in
order to protect our church members and communities as well as look after the most
vulnerable, we have made some changes to how we do things.
We are exploring new ways of being church and community without the physical
gathering of people.

Online Church

Each Sunday, from Sunday 22nd  March, we will be holding an online service at 10am. This will be available for you to access where possible on your computer, tablet or smart phone.

Click Here to join our on-line services

The meeting will be open from 9:30am every Sunday when we will be ready to welcome you.
Remember to click ‘Join with Video’ & ‘Use Computer Audio’

The service will be recorded and posted on the ABC Facebook Page and the website
sometime on Sunday for anyone who is unable to join live.
If you missed last Sundays service watch our on-demand playback here

If, for some reason, the browser link doesn’t work launch the Zoom application and click
on Join A Meeting

The Meeting ID is: 915 172 249
And the password is: 002641

Small Groups & Pastoral Care

As always, we encourage everyone to care for each other within small groups. Andrew is
linking in with our group leaders about ways of supporting one another while we can’t
physically meet together. We encourage everyone to be connected, supporting one
another with texts, phone calls, video calls, group message (via WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger etc). If you are not currently in a group, but you would like to be connected to one, please contact the church office.
Pastoral support remains available, but just in a different way.

Children, Youth & Families

All our midweek & Sunday groups in their usual format are postponed for the
foreseeable future (Toddlers, Children’s Church, Transformers, Youth programme).
Sarah and Rob with their teams are looking at providing content & activities for families
and the youth to take part in in the weeks to follow.

Watch this page and emails for more information on this soon.

Help with practical support

This is a particularly difficult time for those who are in financial difficulty. There may be
many ways we can respond to local need as they arise.

At the present time the best way to get donations to the places where they are most needed is to leave your donation in the specified trolleys/collection boxes at major supermarkets.

Prayer support

We’ve got a new email address for our prayer team to receive requests for prayer. This
is going to be promoted in the front windows of Hale Rd and you can even print off a
poster for your own home front window.

Prayer requests can be sent to
prayer@altrinchambaptist.org
