Due to COVID restrictions we are not able to run Children’s Church in our usual format. Instead we are running Family Church on Zoom from 11.15- 11.45 on a Sunday Morning. (Family Church will re-start after the February half-term). We also have Champions and Missing Link meetings on Zoom each week. For more information please contact the Church Office.
Children’s church usually happens on a Sunday morning as part of the Sunday service. Our aim in Children’s Church is for each child to truly belong to their group, to Church, and more importantly to Jesus. This is achieved through participation in worship, Bible teaching and fun activities. The purpose is for each child to have many positive memories that will last them a life time. The first part of the Sunday morning service is for the whole family starting with family worship. It will be announced from the front when the children will need to be taken to their groups. (Follow a leader in a green T– shirt.) The groups are split as follows:
0-21/2 Team leader (vacant at present)
21/2 - reception Team leader Helen Marsh
Reception-Year 2 Team leaders Helen Edwards & Michelle Coates
Year 3 &4 Team leaders Heather Hughes and Sarah Court
Year 5 &6 Team leaders Will Gregory and Rachel Downey
