Safeguarding

Promoting a Safer Church

At Altrincham Baptist Church Safeguarding of children, young people or vulnerable adults is a high priority for all of the activities run by our paid and volunteer staff.

We ensure that all people who have regular contact with children, young people or vulnerable adults are appropriately vetted and trained according to government and other relevant organisational guidelines.

This includes DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service) checks undertaken as part of our safer recruitment safeguarding policy.

The church has a trustee who oversees our procedures as well as three named safeguarding contacts - the names of whom are displayed throughout our buildings. Contact the church office for more information and if you would like to see a copy of our safeguarding policy.
