 Care and Support

As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another
John’s gospel 13:34,35.

Pastoral care in our community is loving one another, caring for one another and carrying each another’s burdens. This care and support is provided in a number of different ways. For many through membership of a Missional Community or Small Group, meeting regularly in homes and other places. We encourage everyone to be a part of a missional community or small group which is a primary place of pastoral care.

For others pastoral care is provided within group activities that take place in our Hale Rd building and in The Hub. And for those who are housebound or in Care Homes and Nursing Homes it is through home visits and telephone calls by our Pastoral Support Team

A Listening Team provide pastoral support to visitors to The Hub. Members of the team are based in the Hub Café to offer support, to listen, to have a friendly chat and where appropriate to help to link people with organisations who can to offer specific help and support for their needs.
The ministers and leaders are also available to all members of the community for all matters of a private and confidential nature.
